Rainmeter
As you may know, Rainmeter is a light weight productivity application that can change your desktop completely. If you don’t already have it, go right ahead and set it up. It runs on all Windows operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 10 without any issues.
The skins feature what a gamer would minimally need. Quick monitoring of the PC with stats like CPU, RAM, Network and HDD usage as well as launchers to quickly launch games and other applications. The color schemes might also match the lighting if you’ve set up for your build.
The following skins are simple to download and just need a one-click installation. You can find the wallpapers, fonts and other resources associated with the skins in the Documents/Rainmeter/Skins folder in your PC if you wish to further customize them.
Once you download a skin, you’ll get a .rmskin file. Simply run this file to install the skin and add it to your Rainmeter layout. All the skins in the list have been made by the talented artist DarkEagle2011.

5Republic of Gamers

A sleek suite intended to emulate the feel and appearance of Asus’ Republic of Gamers series. You’ll find the basic system monitoring like Hard Disk space, CPU usage as well as RAM monitoring, Network usage. It also has four basic launchers that you can configure as needed.
4Alien Desk

A sturdy feeling theme that kinda reminds you of the original Alienware design back in the days. You’ll find some cool launchers as well as neatly organized stats for monitoring. It’s probably worth experimenting with the position of the skins here to fit your preference. If you’re running Windows 7, it might be worth pairing it up with the Alienware theme for windows 7.
3nVIDIA

Quite easily the leader when it comes to gaming graphics, it’s highly likely you’ve got a rig running an nVIDIA graphics card. If that’s the case, this skin has some sleek launchers across the four corners of the screen as well as the time and other CPU stats in the sides making a clean, green desktop.
2AMD

AMD has been around with it’s new innovations to stand apart from the crowd. As a skin, this suite is very similar to the nVIDIA one from before. It has all the launchers in the corners and the monitoring in the sides. The wallpaper is pretty cool by itself too.
1Aliens

A more, modern approach to the Alienware design in this skin. As far features go, it has the others skins beat. The suite comes with a live feed reader, a google search bar and notepad editor. It even has a battery status report in case you’re using a laptop. It also has up to 7 launchers. A much busier looking suite however with more functionality.
